The former striker and assistant coach has departed Cambridge United after 11 years of phenomenal service. After scoring 2 goals in 51 games as a player, Corr transitioned into a coach and played an integral part of the promotion season in the 2020/21 season. The Irishman also held the fort twice as interim manager in both 2023 and 2024 including a 4-0 thrashing at home to Fleetwood in the FA Cup 2nd round.
However as impressive he was on the pitch and in the dugout, he was a fantastic heartfelt person off the pitch who always gave his all for the fans. In a post match press conference in February 2017, after scoring his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw to Yeovil, he apologised to the fans and staff for being injured for so long but was delighted to score and make a difference for the team.
Upon leaving the Abbey Corr went onto say "To the supporters... thank you for everything". A missed personality behind closed doors and a fantastic footballing brain will be missed in the dugout.
