The former striker and assistant coach has departed Cambridge United after 11 years of phenomenal service. Cambridge United retained list 25/26 review
Following Cambridge United's promotion to League One at the first time of asking, 8 players have been released by the club for varying reasons. Michael Morrison, James Brophy, Elias Kachunga, Korey Smith, Shayne Lavery, Shane McLoughlin, Ben Purrington and Harry Dawson have not had their contracts renewed. Cambridge United are promoted
The U's simply had to better to match the results of the Notts County and Salford games. Notts County went 1-0 up at home to Bristol Rovers, however Rovers drew level in the 2nd half. With one result going in United's way, all focus then switched to Crawley vs Salford. A draw was won for the U's but with 2 minutes left in the Crawley game, a nervous scent clouded over the Mornflake Stadium.
