1st March
The month started with a perfect record following a 2-0 away win against Crawley. The U's took the lead 33 minutes into the contest through a Doyle own goal. The travelling fans had an eventful 4 minutes in the second half after seeing Crawley striker Hepburn-Murphy see red and then Digby extending the lead with a great near post shot. It wasn't all to cheer for the U's as 2 minutes later James Gibbons saw red following an aggressive tackle. It was a great start to life under Neil Harris as this made it 2 wins from 2 whilst scoring 4 and not conceding. Survival hopes was the topic on social media between optimistic and realistic fans.

4th March
It was announced that Malone had signed for the U's. A left back that has followed Neil Harris to Gillingham from Millwall and now followed the newly appointed head coach to East Anglia. The 34 year old signed a contract until the end of the season but wasn't selected in the game against Stevenage.
The game was in the away side's favour throughout the game, only allowing the U's to have 1 shot which Paul Digby put wide. The first poor performance under Harris and a disappointing 1-0 loss following 2 great wins. A game that saw Stevenage dominate the attacking third and the U's struggle from minute 1-94.

7th March
It was announced that CBS and Cambridge United were collaborating with a 3 episode series premiering in the start of the 2025/26 season. The 3 part series will detail the history of the city and it's long lasting history with the beautiful game. A very shocking announcement caught all fans by shock as the U's were in the bottom 4 and staring at relegation. However many fans seemed just as excited as CBS has over 50 million subscribers and this will help market the club in North America.
8th March
The U's travelled to Wigan eager to return to winning ways. Unfortunately for Harris' side it wasn't meant to be as they were pipped of all 3 points courtesy to Robinson's late winner. The U's battled hard but was unable to make the net ripple. Now facing 2 losses in 2 games, Harris was determined to return to winning ways with safety still on the cards.

11th March
The U's once again were on the road with their destination Blackpool. All in sky blue knew the importance of a win and started the game in fine fashion. Dom Ballard, the former Blackpool loanee, delicately chipped the ball into the net and wheeled away in celebration. The youngster registering his first goal for the U's to the delight of all those in blue. However the lead wasn't preserved and the full time whistle confirmed another loss for the U's. This made it 3 losses consecutively and survival seeming unlikely.

15th March
The Cambridgeshire derby approached the Abbey in a must win for both sides. A game that lacked quality for a neutral ended 0-0 at half time. The U's missed multiple chances in the second half which would be missed come the full time whistle. A long ball forced Watts into making a foul resulting in a free kick on the edge of the box. A fantastic free kick opened the scoring and gave posh all 3 points in the derby. Peterborough took bragging rights in the derby after doing the double over the U's. A disappointing game and an awful run of 4 games without a point.

22nd March
The U's travelled to Barnsley in desperate favour to turn recent poor results into a win. The U's took the lead through James Brophy who doubled his tally this season. A fantastic finish from the winger who struck the ball with power and precision across goal. A dominant first half was concluded as the U's went into the half time break 1-0 up. However after an awful second half was brutally ended with a Barnsley goal in the 92nd minute which saw both sides take a point. 2 points dropped in a much needed win visibly deflated players, staff and fans alike.
29th March
The U's concluded a tough March at home against fellow struggling side Northampton Town. The cobblers took the lead in the first half through Hoskins in the 26th minute. As the U's were booed off the pitch in the first half a much better 2nd half performance was needed. The fans were able to celebrate as James Brophy scored directly from a corner in what is almost certain to be goal of the season. The U's pushed throughout the rest of the 2nd half but wasn't able to score another and the game ended 1-1. The U's ended March sat in 23rd with 11 points off safety with 7 games remaining. Wrexham and Birmingham both are still to play in the remaining 7 so survival seems almost impossible but never say never. A much better April will be helpful in the goal of staying in League One.
