Contract updates : Liam Bennet & Sullay Kaikai

Following the annoucment of fan favourite Morrison staying for another year there are still 2 contract annoucements we are waiting for confirmation on. Both Bennet and Kaikai are yet to confirm their fate for next seasons after being offered contracts.

Starting with academy graduate Liam Bennet, it has been rumoured on social media that his desired club is Leyton Orient who narrowly missed out on promotion up to the Championship. As heartbreaking as this is you can't blame him for wanting to better his career whilst he is still young. Our sources tell us that he has made his mind up at the beginning of the season and was certain that he would be leaving CB5. However, since Harris' appointment it has left the right back with a tough choice.

Sullay Kaikai seems likely to stay due to his age. With all due respect to SK, who I believe is one of our best attacking players, he doesn't have age on his side and many teams may not want to take the risk. One mans trash is another mans treasure and I strongly believe that Kaikai could be crucial to our promotion push next season.

No time frame is expected from our sources however since Harris is getting the players in at the beginning of June I would expect the announcements within the next 7-10 days.
